Vagabond Chocolate Brown Knee High Boots - Hedda 5602-202-35

Vagabond Chocolate Brown Knee-High Boots — Hedda 5602-202-35

The Hedda is a stretch knee-high boot in chocolate brown leather and synthetic leather, built for everyday wear and smarter casual dressing. It features a modern square toe, a 70mm flared block heel, and a stretchy shaft that sits neatly to the leg — no gaping, no bunching. The inside zip closure makes dressing quick, while the stretch construction means this boot moves with you through a full day without stiffness or discomfort.

Key Features

• Flared block heel: 70mm height gives a comfortable, stable lift that works for walking and standing — not just sitting down.
• Stretch shaft construction: The shaft is designed to fit neatly and closely to the leg, accommodating different calf widths without a rigid, structured fit.
• Square toe shape: A contemporary silhouette that also provides a little extra room across the toe box — suits those with slightly wider or bunion-prone feet.
• Cow leather upper: The front of the boot is crafted in genuine cow leather for structure and durability; the stretch shaft panels are a softly finished synthetic.
• Inside zip fastening: A clean, discreet closure that keeps the profile of the boot uninterrupted from the outside.
• Tencel-blend lining: The 97% Tencel lining is breathable and soft against the skin, making these suitable for wearing through the day.
• Chrome-free tanned goat leather insole: A considered material choice that sits comfortably underfoot and is kinder to the environment.

Fit and Sizing

The Hedda fits true to size across the range (EU 37–41). The stretch shaft is designed to sit neatly to the leg without being restrictive — it accommodates a range of calf widths that a rigid boot might not. The square toe shape gives a little extra room at the toe box, which can be helpful for anyone with a slightly wider forefoot or bunions. Half sizes are not available in this style, so if you are between sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit.

Best For

• Everyday wear — errands, school runs, and casual outings through autumn and winter
• Work and office dressing where a polished but practical boot is needed
• College and commuting — the block heel makes long days on your feet more manageable
• Smarter casual evenings out — dinner, theatre, or a night in a city centre
• Autumnal and winter dressing in Ireland where a knee-high boot earns its keep
• Customers who find standard knee-high boots too tight in the calf or gape at the ankle

Styling Guidance

Chocolate brown is one of the most versatile tones in a winter wardrobe — it works across neutrals, earthy shades, and richer colours in a way that black does not always allow. Wear the Hedda with straight-leg or wide-leg trousers in camel, cream, or dark olive, letting the boot sit just below the hem for a long, clean line. They work equally well with a midi skirt — a chocolate or rust knit midi skirt worn with a tucked shirt is a complete outfit built around these boots. For a more casual approach, straight-leg dark wash jeans worn just above the boot shaft are an easy, confident combination.

• Works well with: Wide-leg trousers, midi skirts, straight-leg jeans, tailored workwear
• Colour palette: Camel, cream, burnt orange, dark olive, rust, chocolate brown tones, off-white

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this true to size? Yes, the Hedda fits true to size. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up as half sizes are not available in this style.

What is the heel height? The flared block heel measures 70mm — it provides a stable, walkable lift rather than a fine or stiletto-style heel.

What material is the upper made from? The toe and front of the boot is crafted in cow leather sourced from Portugal; the stretch shaft panels are a softly finished synthetic blend (65% polyurethane, 35% polyester) from Italy.

Are they comfortable for all-day wear? The combination of a block heel, stretch shaft, and breathable Tencel lining makes these a reasonable choice for a full day — whether at work, out in a city, or on your feet through errands.

Are they suitable for everyday wear? Yes — the Hedda is designed with daily wear in mind. The block heel, stretch fit, and durable rubber sole make these a practical boot for regular use through autumn and winter.

Are they suitable for wider feet or those with bunions? The square toe shape provides more room across the toe box than a pointed or almond toe would, making the Hedda a better option for those with a slightly wider forefoot or bunion discomfort.
