Tamaris Berry/ Wine Red Bejeweled High Heels 1-22440-47

Tamaris Bejeweled Wine Red Suede High Heels — 1-22440-47

This Tamaris wine red suede high heel features a pointed toe, a 90mm heel, a wrap-around ankle strap, and a bejewelled embellishment at the front, designed for occasion wear, parties, and evening events where colour is part of the dressing decision. Wine red is a richer, more distinctive choice than black or nude and works particularly well across autumn and winter occasion dressing when deep tones sit naturally alongside the season's wardrobe. The leather suede upper, leather lining, and Touch-It footbed technology make it a more comfortable option at this heel height than the finish alone might suggest.

Fit and Sizing

This heel fits true to size in a standard width and suits most foot shapes comfortably. The wrap-around ankle strap provides more security and adjustability than a slip-on heel, which is particularly useful at 90mm where ankle stability makes a real difference across an evening. No half sizes are available — if you fall between sizes, size up.

Best For

• Autumn and winter occasion wear, including wedding guest dressing in Ireland, where a deep wine tone suits the season and setting
• Mother of the bride or groom who wants a heel with colour and detail that makes a considered statement without competing with the outfit
• Evening events, parties, and formal dinners where wine red reads as rich and intentional rather than understated
• Black tie or semi-formal events where a coloured suede heel with embellishment adds depth to a dressed look
• Communion and Confirmation season for those who want something more distinctive than black or nude
• Women building an autumn or winter occasion wardrobe around deep jewel tones and rich neutrals

Styling Guidance

Wine red suede works as a colour-led heel that anchors an outfit rather than simply completing it — it is a shade that holds its own alongside black, charcoal, navy, and deep plum without clashing, and it adds warmth to outfits that might otherwise feel too cool or monochrome. For occasion wear, a black fitted midi dress or tailored wide-leg trousers let the wine heel sit as the focal point of the look without the outfit feeling over-coordinated. If you want to carry the colour through, a deep burgundy wrap dress or a plum or wine-toned skirt alongside a neutral top creates a tonal palette that feels intentional. The ankle strap sits best under a hem that falls just above or below the knee, so midi dresses and longer skirts work better with this shoe than a mid-calf length that cuts across the strap.

• Works well with: Fitted midi dresses, wide-leg evening trousers, column skirts, tailored occasion separates
• Colour palette: Black, charcoal, deep navy, plum, burgundy, champagne

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this heel true to size? Yes, this style fits true to size for most customers. As no half sizes are available, if you fall between sizes we recommend sizing up.

What is the heel height? This shoe has a 90mm heel — a full occasion heel height that is made more manageable by the Touch-It footbed, ANTIshokk cushioning, and the security of the wrap-around ankle strap.

What material is the upper made from? The upper is leather suede with a full leather lining, which gives a rich, textured finish and better breathability than a textile or synthetic lining.

Are they comfortable for extended wear? The Touch-It adaptive footbed, ANTIshokk cushioning, and ankle strap all contribute to making this more comfortable than a standard 90mm slip-on heel — though as with any heel at this height, they are best suited to occasions rather than full working days.

Are they suitable for a wedding or formal occasion? Yes — wine red suede is a particularly strong choice for autumn and winter Irish weddings and formal occasions, and the bejewelled embellishment and ankle strap give it the kind of detail that reads as dressed without being overdone.

Does wine red work with a lot of outfit colours? More than most people expect — wine red sits naturally alongside black, charcoal, navy, plum, and burgundy, which covers most of the palette that dominates autumn and winter occasion dressing in Ireland.
