MSCH Copenhagen Brown Beanie Hat — Lowee
The MSCH Copenhagen Lowee is a rib-knitted beanie in 100% merino wool, finished with a folded cuff and a small logo label. It's designed for everyday winter wear, from the morning commute to weekend walks along the coast. Merino is naturally soft and breathable, so it keeps you warm without the itch or stuffiness of coarser wools.
Key Features
- Merino wool throughout: 100% certified merino, valued for its softness against the skin and its natural warmth.
- Rib-knit construction gives the beanie natural give, so it sits comfortably without pressing.
- Folded cuff adds a double layer of warmth around the ears and forehead, where you need it most.
- Regular fit that sits neatly on the head without slouching or looking oversized.
- Logo label on the cuff, a small, understated detail rather than prominent branding.
- Breathable fibre helps regulate temperature, so it stays comfortable when you move from cold air into a warm car, shop or office.
- Also available in black.

Styling Guidance
A brown merino beanie is a softer, warmer alternative to black and works especially well with camel, cream and tan outerwear. Wear it with a longline wool coat and leather ankle boots for town. For weekends, pair it with a quilted jacket, chunky knit and lug-sole boots. Add a scarf in oatmeal or rust if you want a tonal look that feels finished without being fussy.
- Works well with: wool or camel coats, quilted and padded jackets, leather ankle boots, chunky knit scarves
- Colour palette: camel, cream, oatmeal, rust, forest green

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this true to size?
The Lowee is one size with a regular fit, and the rib knit stretches to fit most head sizes comfortably.
What is the fabric made from?
It is made from 100% certified merino wool, a fine, soft wool known for its warmth and breathability.
Is this suitable for winter walks along the Irish coast?
Yes. The merino wool and folded double-layer cuff keep your head and ears warm in cold, windy conditions. It is not waterproof, so it is best suited to dry or light-drizzle days.
Is this comfortable for all-day wear?
Yes. Merino is soft against the skin and regulates temperature well, so it stays comfortable as you move between outdoors and heated indoor spaces.
How should this be washed or cared for?
Always follow the care label inside the hat. Merino generally does best with a gentle cool hand wash using a wool detergent, then drying flat away from direct heat.
Will merino wool feel itchy?
Merino fibres are much finer than standard wool, so most people find merino comfortable directly against the skin, including around the forehead.
