Best For

• Everyday wear through autumn and winter in Ireland
• Work and office days where a smart-casual outer layer is needed
• College and commuting, particularly where a hood offers extra protection
• Layering over knitwear on cold days without adding bulk
• Travel days where a compact, warm jacket is useful
• Women who want a warmer, softer neutral than black for their winter jacket

Styling Guidance

Chocolate brown has become one of the key winter neutrals, and it is often easier to wear than black because it sits more gently against the skin. Pair it with cream or ecru wide-leg trousers and a camel knit for a tonal look, or keep it relaxed with straight-leg blue denim, a white shirt and brown or black ankle boots. It works well over a midi skirt or knitted dress in oatmeal or olive with dark tights on colder days. A beige or brown knit scarf adds texture at the neckline and keeps the look in the same warm palette.

• Works well with: Wide-leg trousers, blue denim, knitwear, midi skirts and dresses
• Colour palette: Cream, ecru, camel, olive, denim blue, burgundy
